On behalf of Generation Z and all citizens who stood united during the historic People’s Movement of 23–25 Bhadra 2082, we present the Commitment Document for the Interim Government of Nepal.
This document lays out our collective demands for transparency, accountability, justice, and the establishment of a truly inclusive democracy. It emphasizes ending corruption, ensuring fair elections, and safeguarding the fundamental rights of all Nepali people.
Most importantly, this commitment recognizes the sacrifices of the people during the movement, honors those who lost their lives as martyrs, and ensures long-term reparative measures for victims and their families.
Why This Matters
- To guarantee that the Interim Government remains accountable to the people.
- To reaffirm the urgency of ending systemic corruption and political exploitation.
- To uphold the values of secularism, federalism, equality, inclusion, and justice.
- To ensure Generation Z and future generations have a fair role in shaping Nepal’s democracy.
